Parents have commented children spend more time in their room reading and studying after they purchased a loft bed with the study desk. A customer sent us a request for a custom queen loft bed similar to the PB Teen Sleep & Study Loft Bed. The major differences between us and the PB Teen beds are:
Our beds are all solid wood and very sturdy (PB Teen is made from wood, plywood, MDF and veneer).
Our beds have 1,000 lbs. of Weight Capacity (PB Teen has only 200 lbs. which includes the weight of the person and mattress).

Our beds can use any mattress thickness and any ceiling height (PB Teen require a maximum of a 7" thick mattress and requires a minimum ceiling height of 8'-6").

Weight Capacity: If you are the type of parent who likes to read to their child in bed or needs to go up and make the bed once in awhile, you are going to want the increased weight capacity our beds provide. With 1,000 lbs. of Weight Capacity, the entire family can get into bed for bed time stories.
This customer requested a full size with a very large 20" deep U-Shaped Desk, 10" wide legs and shelves, extra safety rails, a cork board and white board across the entire back and a heavy-duty angled ladder with wider steps and handrails.

C:A3 - Corkboards & Whiteboards
We offer Corkboards and Whiteboards. They can be mixed and matched anywhere on the bed. They may be placed on the long back or on the short ends. They also may be attached to the front of the 10" wide legs and they have a wood frame surrounding it. You can order them on the normal order forms when ordering a bed.
C:A4A - Shelves at the end of the bed
Custom bed with multiple 10" deep shelves at the end. We can build this bed to any height with multiple shelves at the end. The ladder may be placed anywhere. This bed also has the slatted headboard with double shelves.

C:A7 - Custom King Size High-Rise / Low Loft Bed with Trundle Bed
This customer needed a custom King Size bed with a Twin Trundle placed underneath the short (foot) end of the bed. Due to the very small room, there was not enough space to slide the trundle out the normal side (length) of the bed. We custom built the bed to handle 1,000 lbs. of Weight Capacity by doubling up the main support beams and by adding additional center supports beams underneath (they can't be seen in the photos). We also added a double bookshelf headboard and a Top Shelf was added for a more decorative look.
C:A8 - Custom Low Platform Bed/Sofa/Couch
This customer needed a custom Low Platform Bed to also serve as a Couch/Sofa in an L-Shaped configuration for a small NYC apartment. The customer also wanted custom designed legs to be more modern looking and flush with the outside of the frame. The customer did a great job staining and finishing of the bed.

C:A9 - Triple Beds for a small space
This customer needed sleeping space for three grandkids in a small bedroom. We designed her (1) Twin Size Loft Bed and (2) Twin Size Low Platform Beds to go underneath. They are all separate beds and may be placed into multiple configurations. We also customized the headboards to make them wider. The Vertical Front Ladder for the Loft Bed may be installed either on the left or right end.
C:A10A - Corner Beds: Loft Bed and a Low Bed Underneath for a small space
For smaller bedrooms you can use a combination of a tall or mid-height Loft Bed and a low bed placed underneath. The low bed may be a Captain's, Low Platform or High-Rise Bed. To order them you need to first select the Loft Bed and place it into the shopping cart and then select the lower bed separately. The picture shows the Loft Bed and Captain's Bed with Floor Storage Drawers.

C:A10C - Corner Beds: Loft Bed with Angled End Ladder
This picture shows the corner bed (shown above) with the optioinal Angled End Ladder making it easier for young children climbing up. Handrails are also available for the ladder.
C:A11 - Captain's Bed with Floor Storage Drawers
Captain's Bed with three floor storage drawers. The floor storage drawers underneath are 20" wide x 7" high x 36" long giving you plenty of storage space. They come with either hard floor sliders or felt sliders for carpets. The floor storage drawers are great for storing extra bedding and for kids storing their toys, Lego Blocks and just about anything underneath the bed.
If you need sleeping space for three people but only have an 8' ceiling we have a Triple Bunk Slider available. The middle bunk slides in or out to give the bottom and middle bunks more space at the head end. Mattress not included. This is a nice solution for use in temporary sleeping quarters such as cabins and camps. This bed can be turned to allow the slider end to be either on the left or right. This can also be permanently attached to have the middle bed off of the end of the bunk bed.
The first photo shows the bed in the closed position. The second shows the middle bed out half way from the upper bed. The third and fourth shows a custom bed designed to fit the customer's room from wall-to-wall. It has a Vertical Front Ladder and the Double Bookshelf Headboard for each bed.
