If you need sleeping space for multiple people but only have an 8' ceiling we have a Triple Bunk Slider available. The middle bunk slides in or out to give the bottom and middle bunks more space at the head end. This bed may be used with an 8' or taller ceiling and requires a 6" thick mattress. Mattress not included. This bed includes the Youth Safety Rails. This is a nice solution for use in temporary sleeping quarters such as cabins and camps. This bed can be turned to allow the slider end to be either on the left or right. The middle sliding bunk may also be attached to have it at a fixed position off of the end of the main bunk bed.

The first photo shows the bed in the closed position. The second shows the middle bed out half way from the upper bed. The third and fourth shows a custom bed designed to fit the customer's room from wall-to-wall. It has a Vertical Front Ladder and the Double Bookshelf Headboard for each bed.

We build beds in Twin (single), Twin-XL (single-XL), Full and Queen and custom sizes. Mattress not included.

If you have an odd size mattress, a crib mattress, need a custom size to fit into a tight space, have a ceiling greater than 10' or a mattress greater than 16" thick please contact us and we will build you a custom sized bed.

Our Bunk Beds are designed for all ages, youth, teen, college students and adults. The built-in ladders at each end are notched, glued, screwed and bolted to the bed frame. The Weight Capacity is 1,000 lbs. per level and with our tongue & groove construction and extreme heavy duty design it makes our beds one of the sturdiest on the market and will hold up to the toughest youth, teen, college student or adult usage. Our beds are free-standing and do not need to be bolted to a wall for support.

The bed, options and accessories are all priced separately so you can mix and match them as needed to create your unique custom one-of-a-kind bed. From the order form below you can order all sizes and add accessories such as angled ladders, shelving and desks.

All Hardware is included with each bed. All beds come with the Mattress Foundation Bed Slats and you do not need to supply a box spring, bunkie board or plywood with our beds, you place your mattress directly on top of our bed slats. The bed frame and all major components are all solid Spruce wood. The bed is unassembled, unfinished, hand sanded and ready for paint or stain by the customer. Headboard  More Info

Double Bookshelf Headboard: This is our most popular headboard. It has two (2) shelves, 5-1/2" deep, 14" tall, is attached to the top of the legs and may be assembled at either end of the bed. The bottom shelf is 9" above the mattress, overhangs the mattress area by 3" and does not interfere with the placement of the pillow. It does not serve as a pillow stop.

This is perfect for storing books, reading light, cell phone, iPod, glasses or any item you need easy access to while on top of the bed.

Solid Headboard & Solid Headboard with Double Bookshelf: The Solid Headboard is 20" high and serves as a Pillow Stop and you may lean up against it to read in bed.

Slatted Headboard & Slatted Headboard with Double Bookshelf: The Slatted Headboard is 20" high with a 1/2" gap between the slats and serves as a Pillow Stop and you may lean up against it to read in bed.

Desk  More Info

Custom Loft Bed

The Short Desk goes the width of the bed may be installed on the outside end of the bed. It can also be installed at a higher location so you can stand at the desk. Studies show that standing at a desk is better for you.

 

Ladder  More Info

Vertical End Ladders: Are Built-In at each end of the bed and provides you access to climb up the end and gives the bed rigidity and support. You need about 2 feet of space at the end of the bed to be able to climb up.

Vertical Front Ladder: If you do not have enough space at the end to climb up you can use the optional Vertical Front Ladder (long side) to climb up the front.

Angled Front & Angled End Ladder: We also have Angled Ladders which may be attached to the Front (long side) or at the (short) End of the bed. The angled ladder 2x4 rungs are positioned flat giving you a larger surface area for climbing up and it is much easier on your feet. The Angled Ladder comes pre-assembled and is ready to be attached and extends out roughly 18". The angled ladder may be installed either on the Front (long side) or at the (short) End and either on the left or right. It can also be used on the multi-width bunks. The weight capacity of the standard angled ladder is 200 lbs.

HD-Heavy Duty Ladders: The weight capacity of the HD-Heavy Duty ladder is 300 lbs.

Angled Ladder Handrails: We also have Handrails for our Angled Ladders. They attach to both sides of the Angled Ladder and it makes it much easier for children climbing up and down.

Ladder Hooks: We have Ladder Hooks available if you need the angled ladder to be easily removable. Please note that the Consumer Products Safety Commission Bunk Bed Guidelines are that ladders need to be screwed to the bed. Hooks are not allowed. If this is going to be used by kids or in a Airbnb/Vrbo/STR or any commercial rental situation, the ladder needs to be screwed to the bed.

 

 

 

Bed Slats & Solid Platform Bunkie Board  More Info

FAQ: Which one should I use?

All beds include Bed Slats (with a 3” gap between them) to support the mattress. We also have a Solid Platform Bunkie Board available that attaches to the top of the bed slats.

If you are using a traditional innerspring mattress you may place your mattress directly on top of the bed slats without a Box Spring, Solid Platform or Bunkie Board.

The Solid Platform Bunkie Board may be needed if you are using a foam mattress, thin mattress, older uncomfortable mattress, futon mattress, air mattress, a mattress that requires a solid base or you just want a solid platform underneath the mattress to get a firmer mattress feel. This may also be used if you don't want to see the bottom of the upper mattress when sitting or sleeping underneath or if you want a solid separator between the top and bottom mattresses.

It is also much easier making the bed with the Solid Platform as the bed sheets will not fall in-between the bed slats.

Check with your mattress manufacturer to see if they require you to have a box spring, bunkie board or a totally flat Solid Platform surface to keep the mattress warranty active.

The Solid Platforms are multiple pieces of 1/8" MDF Sheets that covers the entire mattress area.

Shipping Charge: Is a flat rate per bed charge based on the State/Zone it is being shipped to. All accessories have Free Shipping when shipped together with a bed. We use FedEx Ground Shipping. When the order ships we will email you the FedEx Tracking Number and you will be able to track it online.
