Long Shelf is attached to the back legs, typically
at the height of the third rung and may be used to support the single bookshelf.
Desk Shelf
is attached to the back legs, typically at the height of the second rung and may
be used to support the desktop.
Attach the Shelf Support 2x4
to the back legs using (8) 2-1/2" screws.
You may also use the end of the shelf support to support the end of the single
bookshelf or the desktop (see above picture). Attach the Shelf to the
Shelf Support using 1-5/8" screws. The back of the shelf should be flush
with the back of the legs. Attach the Backboard to the back legs with
four 1-5/8" screws into the corners.
Attach the Backboard to the shelf with 1-1/4” nails
every 12" into the
back edge of the shelf.
