1) I just wanted to write and let you know that we were very pleased with the loft bed we purchased.  I painted my son's bedroom furniture first before we put his bed together.  Instructions were great and easy to follow and it is a great product.  If you follow your instructions it will turn out great.  I primed it as you suggested and then painted and it looks wonderful.  And for my son...he loves it!!!!!  His exact words "It is so cool - I love it!"
 

2) "We recently bought your youth loft bed for our six year old daughter.  We redecorated a bigger bedroom for her and your bed was part of our project.  She absolutely loves it.  It was easy to put together and being unfinished gave us a blank canvas to work with.  Her favorite thing about the bed???  The "hideout" underneath.  She has hardly come out since we moved her in there. I found your photo gallery so helpful for ideas in painting and decorating.  You have some very creative customers."

6) Thanks for the great plan.  I built the bed wondering if it would be strong enough to hold me and my son both (we read together in bed), but that ended up not being a problem.  It's very, very solid.

7) Attached is the picture of our completed loft bed.  We have to touch up a few spots of the stain- where we missed, but aside from that- it looks great.  We like the quality, and it was very easy to assemble. Thanks! Angela. 

8)Thanks so much for your great loft bed kit!  My daughter absolutely loves her new "tween" room.  You customized the height for us, and we stained it lightly and added polyurethane - looks great!  Your customer service was excellent and her new "two-level" room is a big hit with her friends.  We could never fit a desk into her small room without this!

9) I wanted to let you know that the loft bed kit we ordered was delivered extremely promptly.  My ten year old boy is ecstatic.  A sheet of high grade 3/4 inch plywood, cut in half and screwed together, trimmed out with a 1-5/8 inch trim make up the desktop.  I finished it using Minwax PolyShades all-in-one stain and polyurethane finish.  Thanks for a great, economical product.

10) Zachary loves his bed and room and yes, his trains are working trains so he can happily sit on his wonderful loft bed and control the train. Thank you!!

17) I built this for my daughter at Oklahoma State University using your plans. I improvised a shelf for clock, lamp, books etc.

18) Hi! Our two beds came from you very timely.  The boys were running down the street with the FedEx man because I showed them how to track the beds' arrival from the FedEx website.  The boys really love these lofts! One brother loves blue, the other loves red, so we used a multi-colored rug and stripe to make their valances to pull the colors together.  I put the chain down the middle to show where the boundary line is between the two "territories," and the boys have to keep their toys stored within their loft square space.  It has really cut down the fighting over space between the two of them.  I used the same type of chain to hang the valance on the window and we filled sand buckets with cement to make the boundary pots.  They have plenty of room now to have a desk for homework and playing with their friends.  Thank you! 

19) Thank you for your help in customizing our daughter's loft to fit her room.  She was more than happy to trade in her toddler bed for it and has been enjoying having tea parties underneath.

21) My 9 year old son LOVES his new "Camouflage" Loft Bed.  And I must say that I am quite pleased, as well.  It is a sturdy piece of furniture.  I was surprised at how small and efficient the packaging was yet, all the pieces were there and EASY to assemble.  I primed, and painted my son's bed in dark olive and burnt orange to match his camouflage bedding.  It inspired me to paint his bedroom in the same olive and 2 tones of "sand".  I then made a tent-style camouflage & khaki curtain and a coordinating fleece throw blanket for his bed.  We then framed and hung all his military-type Gaming posters.  The room looked so good, that my husband now wants his in-home office painted some of the same colors, as he is going for a WWII-modern style office.  See what you've done?  And it all started with a simple loft bed!  Thanks!  Denise.

23-25) My son loves his "Yankee Loft Bed".  We ordered the loft bed plans from your site and built it together over a weekend. The loft plans were easy to follow and a fun project to do with my seven year old. My wife tacked some outer space material under the bed and we hung some rope lights to create a cool hang out area.  Thank you.

26) We love our loft.  The kids really enjoy climbing up there and reading books, building puzzles or just relaxing.  It has given us so much more floor space.  We have our block area underneath.  This was a great investment.  Thanks.  Community Church Children's Center.

27) My 8 year old loves his Jungle Bed!  We added some cool doo-dads and a big desk across the bottom which we are using for toy storage until he is a little older and will have a homework center built right in..... We had a blast building it together, and we are so pleased with the result.  Your instructions were awesome, website is terrific and this
was a really good experience!  Now Seth has a bed that he can even take to college with him when it is time!

28-29) Just completed my second loft for my kids, they both love them! Just thought I'd share some pictures of how I customized your plans, the larger shelving in the floor to ceiling bookcase makes for great extra storage. I used 2 x 10’s for the shelving assembly to make the bookcase.  Thanks again!

30) Thank you so much for our loft bed. We are extremely pleased with the way it turned out, it is PERFECT!! I needed another bed in the bedroom, but was faced with the dilemma to keep the queen bed also.  I saw your bed on the internet and your loft bed was perfect!  I was able to build it right over the queen bed! Now my 16 year old and my 11 year old are happy!!  Thank you for all your support and continual assurance that it would work.  You're a pleasure to work with!

31) This customer won the "Flower Box Award" from ApartmentTherapy.com.  She had a dog that would destroy all her plants, so she purchased our loft and placed the flower boxes on top of the loft.

32-33) Just sending you a couple of images of how our beds turned out. They're great! The sturdiest loft beds I've seen. You'll notice I did a few modifications. Since the girls are only 4, I made a shorter set of "training" legs (shown), in addition to the full-length legs. They'll get the standard legs when they're old enough to have more common sense.  We've started out with a height that barely clears their dresser, then we can still raise the mattress another 4.5" on these legs once they're used to not diving out of their beds. I stained the main frame, and only painted accents, so that it will be really easy to change colors when the girls want new colors.  They're the happiest 4-year-olds in the neighborhood!

Customer Feedback

I just wanted to let you all know that your beds are everything my daughters wanted! They each have their own 'space' now and since, fight MUCH less! It is so wonderful to have peace in our house again and I do believe we owe this to your beds. They are extremely well crafted and my girls absolutely love having the shelves as their headboard. Just though I would let you all know and say, thanks!
 

The loft I recently purchased for my daughters first year of college IS THE BEST. I was a bit skeptical after ordering but after I assembled it I was very impressed with not only the sturdiness of the loft but the overall quality as well. My daughter loves it and is very pleased that we picked this loft over all the others. I have some friends whose children are going to be starting college next fall and if they are in the market for a loft I will be sending them your way. THANKS AGAIN!!

(From a customer with a low 7' ceiling...)  Hi!!  We built the queen bunk bed this past weekend in our Jellystone Park model.. It turned out great!!..The height was perfect.. The kids have room to sit on the top bunk and not hit their heads and there is plenty of head room on the bottom bunk..  Our family and friends say they have never seen a queen bunk and are very impressed with you folks.. Thank you very much!!

...It gave us extra floor space for our kids and provided much needed storage space under ours.  Our home is 14'x65' and we have three growing weeds in our home.  Plus I home school.  So, we needed space.  Buying your loft beds are much less expensive than getting another house.  So, these beds were a great solution to our problem.  I am glad you make them.  Thanks for all your time and have a nice day!!!!

...I really like the foam idea to fill in the space at the end.  Thank you for the suggestions.  I will say that my son is very happy with his bed and my toddler is happy with his little room under the bed.

I have been meaning to email to tell you how delighted the kids are with their loft bed.  I was very pleased with the quality of the materials, and had I not had limited space in which to assemble it, I believe I might have come close to your estimated time frame (I did have to ask my husband to hold the cross pieces while I secured them, so your suggestion of needing two people was pretty much on the money).  I enjoyed the project, though, I love doing this stuff, and the bed is quite nice.  Thank you.

I am thrilled to have found your web site, you have been very helpful and prompt and detailed. You have made my child very happy, she can't wait to go to bed now, I have a hard time getting her down from there, now she gets breakfast served in bed!!

Just wanted to tell you folks that the bed we built from your plans for my daughter's dorm room is now the hit of the floor.  We added three inches to the height for desk clearance but other than that, we couldn't have asked for anything simpler to build...Thanks again.
