youth, tween, teen, college students and adults.

most popular bunk bed for homes, college dorms, off-campus
apartments, fraternity & sorority houses, cabins and
camps.
We also provide our bunks for hotels, fire/police stations
and
summer/sports camps.
We custom build each bunk bed to your exact specifications,
so it will fit any ceiling height and any mattress thickness.
Lifetime Warranty.
We manufacture them
in twin, full and queen sizes.
To get the
maximum space
between the bunks, the bottom mattress starts
at 10" from the
floor and the top mattress is based on what you
specify on the
order form. If you want the bottom mattress to be
set a little higher
or lower, you can specify it in the "Custom
Specifications" box
provided during checkout.
We can also custom build you a Triple Bunk
Bed. You will need to
have at least a 9'
ceiling to get enough space between the bunks.

Product Specifications
Our Bunkhouse Bunk Beds are an all solid wood
construction.
They are made from kiln-dried heat-treated
Spruce grown in the
Pacific Northwest. It is a
special grade that is specifically
selected for us. Since it grows in a
cooler climate, it has fewer
knots and
the boards stay nice and straight better
than other
wood species. The legs and rails are 2x6,
ladder rungs are 2x4
and the
Safety Rails are Solid Clear (knot free) Pine.
Our tongue & groove construction gives our beds
extreme support
and stability. End ladders are notched, screwed and
bolted to the
bed rails. The bed is assembled with screws and 3/8"
carriage
bolts, no nails that will come loose over time. This
makes for an
extremely sturdy and heavy duty bunk bed that will
hold up to the
toughest youth, teen and adult environment.
We provide a mattress foundation (bed slats) that go
length of
the bed with a gap of 3" between the slats.
The Weight Capacity
is 1000 lbs. per level.
The bed comes unfinished, sanded and ready for paint or stain.
Mattress not included.
Our beds follow the Consumer Products
Safety Commission
Bunk Bed
Guidelines. For bunk beds for home use we provide
safety rails on all
four sides with a small opening to climb in.
You may climb into
the loft using the built-in ladders at each end
or with
our optional front ladder.
Available in Twin Over Twin, Full over Full, Queen
over Queen,
Twin over Full, Twin over Queen and Full over Queen.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can your bunk bed be separated into two separate low beds?
Yes and no. Our bunk bed legs (corner posts) are made from one
piece solid wood that supports both levels. This is what makes our
beds very sturdy. The stackable bunk beds sold by most
manufacturers just don't have the stability of solid one piece leg.
So yes, you can take our bunk bed and cut the legs to
make it
into two beds, but you can't make it back into a bunk bed.
I already have one

How
Much Space Will I Get Above and Between the Bunks?
We custom build each bed to your exact specifications, so it depends on your ceiling
height and mattress thickness. For example, if you have an
8' Ceiling and a 6" Mattress, you will get 58" Headroom Underneath (to
the floor) & 30" Above.
Click
to use our
to see how much
headroom you will get using your specs.
Note: To get the most space
underneath consider using our Extra Tall 85" Legs.
We normally set the headroom above the mattress to 30" (unless
you specify something different below).
For most people 30''
headroom above is adequate and most colleges also recommend 30" headroom above.
For the lower bunk, we typically set the mattress at 10" from the floor.
Using the above example of 58"
space
underneath and 6" mattress, it will then be 16" from the floor and will give you
42" of
space between the bunks.

Select Safety Rails
We follow the Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC) Guidelines
for Bunk Beds
Dorm Use: The CPSC guideline is if the bed is used in an
adult institutional environment (ie. college dorm),
one Safety Rail must be
installed on the front (long) side and must be at least 5" above the top of the
mattress. We refer to these as Dorm Use Beds. To save space,
most dorm beds are placed up against a
wall, however, if your bed will not be up against a wall, we recommend a Safety
Rail on the Back Side also.
Home Use: The CPSC
guideline for home or
apartment beds (for children and adults) is that safety rails are required on all four sides
with a small opening to enter the loft. The top of the safety rail must be
at least 5" above the top of the mattress and there can not be any openings
larger
than 3˝" anywhere
above the mattress foundation. We refer to these as Home Use
Beds.
Each Safety Rail Set contains 4 safety rails, one for each of the sides.
The number of
Safety Rail Sets required is based on the thickness of the mattress.
All of our Bunkhouse Bunk Beds have Solid Pine Safety Rails
and are premium
grade knot free clear pine. They are sanded and ready to be painted or
stained.
